Traditionally called "Swaying the Head and Wagging the Tail to Expel Heart-Fire," this is the fifth movement of the Ba Duan Jin.
Modern Problem: High-stress office environments trigger "Heart Fire"—manifesting as high cortisol levels and irritability. Physically, holding a static seated position causes the lumbar vertebrae to lock.
The Adaptation: This seated rotation stimulates the vagus nerve (calming the heart) while the torso sway massages the adrenal glands, effectively resetting your stress response.
